On the Fields

  • We choose our varieties based on what grows best naturally in the mountains.

  • Our crops get treated by biological pesticides and fungicides (where possible) to minimise the effect on the enviroment.

  • All our crops are grown on open fields under the sun.

  • All production is within 4 km from our packing facility for minimal transport before packing.

In the Flowershed

  • Before entering our packing facility all flowers are treated with fungicide.

  • Then we store it in one of our 3 cold rooms until we need it for our orders.

  • We prides ourselves in using almost all the different lengths and keep waste to a minimum.

  • All organic waste such as leaves or broken heads gets chopped up to be used for compost.

  • After processing our orders into bouquets and single stem lines, we immediate ship it to the airport or local distribution centres.

  • Our average time between harvesting and delivery is 24h.

Bouquets

All our bouquets are thoughtfully designed with a focus on seasonality ,freshness and unique combinations. While our flowers naturally have a long shelf life, we prioritise minimising the time between harvest and delivery to ensure maximum quality. Our team of bouquet designers brings over 60 years of experience across three generations, specialising in indigenous South African flowers.
